In May 2017, FSQ DJs Sa’d The Hourchild Ali and Chuck Da Fonk headed from New York City to the White Isle, aka Ibiza, Balearic Islands, Spain. They attended the International Music Summit and then headed out for a FSQ DJ booking at the legendary hotel, restaurant and sunset music venue, Hostal La Torre.
In memory of Sa’d Ali on the date of his passing, April 21st 2018, we celebrate The Hourchild’s legacy with this two hour recording from the 2017 Ibiza booking.
This is the first ever radio broadcast of the FSQ Hostal La Torre DJ set, and while Sa’d and Chuck had legendary adventures in Ibiza, there are no tall tales told today. Instead we present the 2017 mix and our DJ selections from the date, including FSQ remix work for Navid Izadi, Midnight Magic, XL Middleton, Afterlife, and Nick Monaco.
