In November, lower ocean temperatures and westerly breezes from off the coast of California, bring in a layer of dense fog over the Los Angeles area, in both the mornings and evenings. This phenomenon is called the “Marine Layer” and that’s the title of today’s episode of FSQ with Chuck Da Fonk.
Hear songs by Thailand (Traditional), r beny, Matchbox Youth x URCHN, Modern Crusoe, juniorodeo, Samuel Paul Cernuto, the Low Fog and Modern Crusoe that all carry the title “Marine Layer”.
Meanwhile, Chuck has a close up encounter with an owl perched in the fog. This spooky animal experience leads Chuck to present mysterious and introspective tunes by Tim Booth, Duran Duran, Anna Calvi featuring David Byrne, Terrence Parker, Diana Oliveira and Haerts.
