FSQ show host Chuck Da Fonk visits his old haunts in New York City and gets all the way down on the funk.
In preparation for his DJ gig at Flippers Roller Boogie Palace at Rockefeller Center, Chuck tests out some real roller skating funk by the likes of The Reddings, Switch, Kiddo, Zhane, D’Atra Hicks, and many more.
Outside of the old school slow motion funk, there are fresh burners by Jamal Dixon, Hotmood, Ron Basejam, and Crazy P. Plus a special focus on the outtakes from Average White Band’s 1980s efforts, and the 1986 album “I Am U” by Norman Dozier.
