FSQ Host Chuck Da Fonk recently ventured out to the desert – Palm Springs, California to be exact – with the purpose of DJing an event called “Bartender’s Weekend, Desert Escape”.
For this episode he returns from the bartender heavy party with scores of compliments about his DJing and a renewed vigour, ready to deliver you 3 hours of new music.
Celebrating the bartenders who made the FSQ Palm Springs party so special, Chuck decides to explore songs about cocktails, mainly provided by 1960s lounge music producer, Xavier Cugat aka “Cugi”.
In the second hour, Chuck promotes the new FSQ album, “Reprise Reprise Tonight” (Soul Clap Records).
The third hour is carried by hot new music including jams by Ari Lennox, Moon Rocket, Young Gun Silver Fox, Sherwyn, Scruscru, Masok, Louis Cole and many more.
