Architect Miguel Angel Aragonés built a brutalist landmark in Baja California Sur, Mexico – it is a beautifully designed hotel in Cabo San Lucas that he titled “Mar Adentro” or “The Sea Inside”.
Returning from a vacation at this futuristic dreamscape – which features an internal sea lapping at the feet of the hotel grounds – Chuck Da Fonk feels inspired to translate this visual theme into audio. He does so by featuring almost a dozen tunes that all carry the title “Mar Adentro”.
He also brings home some of the hotel playlist selections which span musical releases from across Latin America. Plus brand new music by Ultraflex, Codie Currie, Jitwam, Louis Cole, Jay Diggs, Lex (Athens), Q&A, A. Billi Free & The Lasso and many more fresh artists.
