It was our first year at The Face, and we felt fortunate that in such a short amount of time we were able to come across so many new artists that really made 2014 special.
Our favourites were (in no particular order):
Alexia Coley, Cherry Boop & The Sound Makers, Diane Shaw, Ephemerals, French Boutik, Hannah Williams & the Tastemakers, Lack of Afro, Lee Fields, Leon Bridges, Lisa Stansfield, Men of North Country, Modern Faces, Myles Sanko, Naomi Shelton & The Gospel Queens, New Street Adventure, Paul Weller, Quitty & The Don’ts, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Smoove & Turrell, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Stone Foundation, Temples, The 45s, The Above, The Blue Bottles, The Budos Band, The Como Mamas, The Dead Perrys, The Gene Dudley Group, The High Learys, The Knights of Forty First Street, The Len Price 3, The Lovers Key, The Moons, The Q, The Repeat Offenders, The Rifles, The Riots, The Sha La La’s, The Sound Of Pop Art, The Spitfires, The Universal, The Whereabouts, & Trambeat
We were fortunate to have Nick from New Street Adventure on the show on the 2nd of November, as well as Maco and Chris from The Lovers Key on the 30th of November!
The Lovers Key had our favourite song with ‘Maybe I’m Not Good Enough’
