An awesome tune both in delivery and dance-ability! Guy Darrell was born John Swail in Kent September 12, 1944. This is a cover of the 1965 hit by the Tams, written by Ray Whitley. Released in 1966, Darrell’s version became a favorite of the Northern Soul scene, belatedly reaching number 12 on the UK Singles Chart in August 1973.
