It seemed only appropriate to have a Weller related track as our Song of the Day, today on his 60th birthday! I chose Long Hot Summer, not because it’s my favourite of The Style Council collection, if I’m honest, I really didn’t appreciate this one for many years, but I grew to appreciate its greatness over the years. That said, as its finally beginning to edge into what I expect to be a hot summer, seemed dually fitting on both occasions.
