Born Ralph Thomas Williams in New York and raised in Detroit, Tony tragically died aged 31 after being shot by his wife. His career had a resurgence in the 1970’s on the Northern Soul circuit, and he also scored a hit with The Entertainer on the R&B charts. Just listen to the horns on this classic – Brilliant!
