This 1970 release by the group formerly known as The Vibrations is one of those lyrical oddities that departs from the love song theme and tried something totally different;
hosting a surprise party. A neighbour of Skiing in the Snow by the Invitations in my opinion, I love the departure of the songwriting’s theme.
