“Dance Right Into Midnight” is a rare boogie funk tune from a Denver, Colorado early 1980s outfit called Badd Habitt, on the very unknown “Sounds of Colorado” record label.
This episode of FSQ is named after this super off the beaten path track and this rarity inspires host Chuck Da Fonk to dig for other lost funky treasures like pro-wrestler Terry Funk’s “Great Texan”, George Duke’s forgotten 1990s house anthem “Life and Times” and James Brown drummer Clyde Stubblefield’s deep funk cut – the extended jam known as “Party In The Kitchen”.
Plus exciting new music from FSQ show favorite artists Session Victim, Franc Moody, and Payfone. And don’t miss the jam band grooves of the newly discovered groups Telula and Sqwerv.
