We kick off with some rare Northern from Charles Mintz and then motor through some funky soul from amongst others The Undisputed Truth, Jackie Wilson, Barbara Acklin and Gladys Knight and The Pips.

We bring you a couple of funky ones from unlikely sources in Johnny Mathis and Demis Roussos and our three Northern Soul Stonkers were all released In 1967.

We’ve new ones from Kelly Finnigan, Thee Heart Tones and Ron Sexsmith plus in the 2nd hour, there are three tracks that bear the hallmark of songwriter Eddie Hinton. Tell your Grandma!!
