Summer isn’t quite over yet. FSQ’s “Last Days Of Summer” stretches the season out with two hours moving across disco, funk, new wave, house and leftfield dance music.
The disco and funk side brings Imagination, Millie Jackson and The Quick, while the new wave and ’80s selections move through The B-52s, Blue Zoo and Ultravox. On the electronic end, Kraak & Smaak, Ray Mang, DJ Tennis, Red Axes and Space push the show toward house, dub and cosmic sounds.
FSQ also drops into the mix with the demo of “SFDH (Soul, Funk, Disco, House)” and “The Map Song (30 Year Anniversary Mix)” with Billy Bass Nelson.
A final blast of warm-weather music for the last days of summer.
