This session, Antony Daly from 586 Records in Gateshead, NE England, celebrated their 11th Birthday – playing on the Public House HIFI system, above a Pizza parlour in the Ouseburn area of Newcastle upon Tyne. Recorded at the venue, is of the intimate first two hours.

The atmosphere was truly special as we recorded the first two hours of the event, which began with the lights dimmed, creating an intimate environment for our small team of three. The music set the perfect tone; we started with ambient pieces, gradually transitioning into woozy electronic tracks, and eventually moving into classic soulful selections. Each record was given the space to breathe, played on a beautifully tuned sound system, which enhanced the overall experience.

As the evening progressed, more dancers joined us, filling the room with energy and enthusiasm. It was a night to remember, celebrating both our anniversary and our passion for music.
