Mad Spooky Yo!

This week’s In the Pocket slipped into Halloween weekend with a long, shadowed groove through funk, soul, Afrobeat and Latin heat, where Lagos meets Colombia by way of Texas and the New York underground.

Vintage soul, ska, rock and DJ edits all crept through the same dim-lit room, equal parts playful and a little uneasy.

Soulful sounds from the global underground, built to be played loud with the lights low.
