This week’s Liquid Sunshine is an evening of disco edits—starting with Tod Terje’s sublime reimagining of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” and moving through timeless reworks from Masters At Work, Joey Negro, and Dave Lee that prove the best edits don’t improve the originals, they just give them new life for the dance floor.

From Harold Melvin’s wake-up call through Loleatta Holloway’s runaway groove and the silky soul of Bobby D’Ambrosio’s “Moment Of My Life,” every track carries that essential warmth and humanity that makes disco edits so much more than just technical exercises.

(Fair warning: we had a few technical hiccups along the way—a bit of gear trouble causing some dropouts—but like any good live broadcast, we kept the groove moving and the vibes intact.)
