New Music Weekly with Kurtis Powers

Feels So Far Away

This week, we’ve got music from Sébastien Tellier, Temples, Deb Never, Lucy Blue, The Guest List, Fcukers, Adrian Younge, Tomora, The Utopiates and more.

We’ve got some brilliant sounds from the Tokyo Pulse: Japanese Funk, Modern and City Pop from the Tokyo Scene 1974-88, out on the 1st of May on We Want Sounds.

Our breaking artist is a band I’ve been playing on repeat for the last 3-4 weeks, Bellvie from Malmö — we’ve got a handful of their tracks to share.

We’ll also be jumping into our New Music Time Machine with some tracks released on this day in 1970, 2009, and 2024.

If it’s new — and it matters — it’s here.
