This week, LH is serving Jazz-Funk Poetry. From Poets to singers to instrumentalists, all these magicians have a lyrical quality to the way they weave music.

This ranges from Latin, Soul, R&B, Folk and more. Starting in 1975 we’re routed in the sounds of New York with Gil Scott-Heron, Joe Bataan and players that worked with the two. The show moves on elegantly with funky bass lines throughout.
