Host Chuck Da Fonk celebrates Leo season with an episode titled “Sign of the Lion,” opening with the Flying Mojito Brothers’ cosmic reworking of swamp-funk legend Tony Joe White before prowling through new funk, disco, soul and leftfield electronic sounds.

Norwegian jazz-funk, dreamy spiritual soul and flashes of modern boogie keep the first half moving, before Chuck turns back to British new wave with deep cuts from The Planets and Endgames.

The show closes by exploring the extended New Order universe, with lesser-heard tracks from the band alongside Monaco, the project formed by Peter Hook and David Potts, plus a few surprises orbiting the Manchester legends.
