This session pulls together fresh house and boogie sides from Ibiza, San Francisco, Amsterdam and the UK’s south coast, Afro-Caribbean and Brazilian rhythms threading through broken beat and deep house from London and Montreal, and a run of jazz-funk and soul that closes the set on a joyous, 1980s-rooted note.

Balearic warmth meets Afro-Cuban percussion meets slow-motion Jamaican soul, all recorded from the Great Northern Catskills as part of the Upstate Vibin’ summer series. Expect wide geography and deep groove — from West African funk out to São Paulo, Lagos and back.
